Keyword Revealer Review – What It Offers?

Keyword Revealer is a keyword research tool that allows you to use a seed topic or keyword to pull potential keywords. You can evaluate each possible keyword according to trends, difficulty score, average figures in SERPS, and more. It can also be used to brainstorm for more effective long-tail keywords and check your keyword rankings on Google.

Keyword Revealer is divided into several sections. Those are Keyword Research, Rank Tracker, Keyword Brainstorm, Backlink Analysis and Site Analysis.

Keyword Research allows to search for profitable keywords related to their niche, providing data on search volume, competition, and potential profitability.

The tool calculates a keyword difficulty score, which predicts how difficult it will be to rank for a particular keyword, based on factors such as the strength of competitors and the quality of their content.

Keyword Revealer allows you to track your website’s rankings for specific keywords over time, providing insights into the effectiveness of their SEO efforts and identifying areas for improvement.

keyword revealer advantages

You can analyze the backlinks of competitors or your own website to uncover potential link building opportunities and identify areas for improvement.

You can also analyze their competitors’ websites to uncover the keywords they are ranking for and the content they are creating, enabling to identify potential opportunities to improve.

1. Keyword Research

To start a new keyword search, you will use the “Keyword Search” field . Enter the new keyword in the keyword field. Choose your preferred search location and search language and then click on “Search.”

Keyword research feature in Keyword Revealer.

Changing your search location and language will also change your search results. Changing the search language can change the keyword output that you receive while changing the search location can change the keywords’ average monthly searches.

The results page will display information in the following categories (you can select which will be displayed):

  • MSV ( the number of Average Monthly Searches)
  • Volume Trends (for last 12 months)
  • CPC (the approximate Cost Per Click)
  • Profit (Potential Monthly Earnings that can be gained from Ad Clicks)
  • Words (number of words for the keyword)
  • Domain (exact match keyword domain availability)
  • Difficulty (This is the difficulty ranking of the keyword. The lower the score, the better)

Keyword Revealer can be used to research keywords in two ways: traditional keyword-based research and competitor-based research.

  • Traditional Keyword Research

After you’ve logged in to your account, you can search using your seed keyword for your website’s top niche or topic. You can narrow your search results by selecting the Google database of the particular country that you want to receive keywords from.

This is great for improving search engine optimization in your country. You can also choose the language of your search query to yield more targeted results.

  • Competitor-Based Keyword Research

If you want to know what keywords your competitors are using, you can reverse-engineer your search. Type in the URL for your competitor’s website and hit “Search.” This will show you what keywords your competition ranks for.

Keyword Data

For your searched seed keyword, you will get keyword ideas. For each keyword idea, you can see typical keyword information such as cost per click (for PPC ads) and monthly volume (for organic keyword research). Keyword Revealer also has a Profit column. This section will show you how much revenue you could potentially earn from ad units by ranking at the top for a chosen keyword.

This metric is ideal for bloggers who want to monetize their site by running ad blocks. If you don’t like the results you receive, you can simply filter the results to find more effective keywords that best meet your needs.

Keyword Difficulty

Keyword Difficulty is the difficulty level for ranking on the first page of SERPs for a keyword. There’s a limit to the number of keywords that you can evaluate per day, depending on the pricing plan that you’ve purchased. Besides the difficulty score, you’ll also see the search volume for that keyword over 12 months as well as trends throughout the years.

The Social category will show you all of the social shares that all of the top-ranking pages have. This information tells you how shareable a page is. Reviewing the most shared pages can give you some insight as to what keywords and content garner the most likes, pins, and tweets. You can see FB comments, FB shares, Pinterest shares, and Tweets.

The Domain Strength category shows you Moz’s Domain Authority for each particular page. You can use this data to determine how easy or difficult it will be to rank your keywords. That includes Moz Page Authority, Moz Domain Authority, Moz Rank, and External links.

The On-Page Optimizations section will show you the sites in the top 10 results that use the keyword in their meta description, title, URL, and H1. You will also see the number of words found on the page, the number of keywords found on the page, and if the site uses AMP.

Saved Keywords Tab

Any keywords that you evaluate are not saved automatically. You have to click on the blue “Save” button to add a keyword to your list of keywords in the “Saved Keywords” tab.

save keywords keyword revealer
You can save keywords, remove them, or download them as CSV.

It’s easy to delete a keyword from the Saved Keywords tab. Just select the appropriate keyword and click on the trash can icon. You can also download saved keywords. Go to the upper right-hand section and click on the blue “Download CSV” button.

2. Rank Tracker

Watching your keyword rankings is an excellent way to see your SEO campaign’s effectiveness. If your results keep increasing, then you’re obviously doing something right. However, if your rankings continue to decrease, then something needs to be done to reverse that trend.

Keyword Revealer’s Rank Tracker simplifies your SEO workflow. You can observe your keywords right from the tool, instead of having to use other software. Go to the Rank Tracker option on the sidebar and select the “Add New Tracking Project” to start tracking your site’s keyword rankings. You can only track keywords on Google.

keyword revealer rank tracker
You can easily add keywords to track their rankings. Be noted that you can only track on Google.

The tool will then bring you to a page where you can find information about the keywords you’re tracking. Eventually, you’ll be able to see your position movement on SERPs for the keywords you’ve selected.

Keyword Revealer tracks your position every two days. Unfortunately, there is no way to change this frequency.

You can add events to take notes of things that have happened to affect your keyword rankings. For instance, if your rankings spiked due to Google making changes to their algorithm, you can make an event for that.

3. Keyword Brainstorming

Sometimes the Keyword Research feature just isn’t enough to find the right keywords for your business. Some results may have search volumes that are too low, while others may have difficulty scores that are too high.

Instead of tinkering with this feature, use the Keyword Brainstorming tool. Discover uncovered long-tail keywords (data is pulled from Google Autosuggest). You can get suggestions from YouTube and Google only.

Entering a seed keyword will show you a list of possible long-tail keywords to use. All of the data is presented in a tree format. This allows you to organize your keywords according to their groupings.

keyword revealer keyword brainstorming
Example of Keyword Revealer Brainstorming tool.

You’ll see longer, more relevant keywords branching out from the seed keyword. This will also happen if you click on any of the related keywords that you see until the tool runs out of possible keywords to suggest. If you want to learn more about a certain keyword, click on the keyword to use the tool’s Keyword Research feature.

4. Backlink Analysis

Backlink analysis tool is an excellent resource for anyone seeking to enhance their website’s SEO. With this tool, you can effortlessly enter any URL and promptly identify all new or lost backlinks. You’ll obtain valuable insights into your link campaigns by viewing referring link details, such as the well-known metrics Citation and Trust Flow.

5. Site Analysis

Site Analysis tool is useful features the platform has to offer. With it, you can easily analyze any website and gain valuable insights into your competitors to help you stay on top of the game.

By checking SEO metrics, backlinks, top content, and competitors of any website, Keyword Revealer’s Site Analysis tool provides a wealth of information that can help you better understand your niche and optimize your own website for success.

You can even benchmark your own website’s performance against the competition to see where you stand and identify areas for improvement.

Keyword Revealer Pros & Cons

Here are the advantages and disadvantages of using Keyword Revealer:

PROS

  • Solid keyword data – You get a lot of information from every keyword evaluation. It pulls data from social media and search engines (average SEO metrics from SERPs, difficulty scores). This gives you a bird’s eye view of all the top-ranking pages for your keywords. You can use the information provided to determine whether or not to use keywords.
  • Simple, straightforward interface – Keyword Revealer keeps everything in one central location, unlike other solutions that separate keyword research into different sub-pages. You can see all the keyword phrases on one page. You can filter your results according to the parameters that you’ve set. You can further refine your search by evaluating the keywords that you want to optimize for your website.
  • Backlink and site analysis features
  • You can filter keywords
  • You can brainstorm for keywords
  • Option to save keywords and projects
  • You can use the rank tracker feature to see your keywords’ effectiveness
  • Bulk keyword difficulty evaluation
  • Pre evaluated keyword difficulty feature

CONS

  • Manually discovering keyword difficulty – Keyword Revealer can be compared to other keyword research tools like Long Tail Pro, SEMrush, etc. Those tools will load keywords difficulty score instantly when results appear. With Keyword Revealer, you have to evaluate every keyword that comes in results manually. You’re also limited by the Daily Evaluations limit.
  • Sometimes when using the Keyword Research feature, the results don’t find anything. It just shows blank. So you need to perform the search again to get results.
  • Searching for and evaluating keywords takes too long often.
  • Simple secondary features – The Keyword Research feature is impressive. However, some of the other features are lacking in features. It seems like the Keyword Brainstorm and Rank Tracker features were just added on to give users something extra. They’re okay features, but don’t bring anything special. At best, they’re okay features if you don’t have money to spend for better rank tracking and brainstorming tool.
  • Keyword Research feature provides results for only the first top 10 pages. There is no option to see more.

Keyword Revealer Pricing

The free version gives you access to some of the very basic features and it is extremely limiting in what you can do.

Subscribing to one of the paid plans helps you get the most out of this tool. The BASIC plan is perfect for new bloggers and website owners who want a quick and easy way to discover low competition keywords without having to spend a lot of money to do so.

The PRO and ELITE plans are ideal for digital marketing agencies and search engine optimization professionals. You can use them to find hundreds of possible keywords every day.

Pricing plans can be paid monthly or annually. They offer a full money-back guarantee within seven days of signing up. It would be nice if it would be longer, but the seven days is still enough for you to see if Keyword Revealer is something that you can use.

Keyword Revealer and KWFinder are excellent keyword research tools, and the choice between them depends on your specific needs and preferences. In my opinion KWFinder is better tool. I suggested going with KWFinder if you need advanced features and go with Keyword Revealer if you want cheaper option, more suited for beginners.

Check my KWFinder review for more information.

Below is a comparison in results between Keyword Revealer and KWFinder for random keyword (be noted I have excluded some Keyword Revealer columns so that it is easier to compare with KWFinder):

Keyword Revealer Alternatives

If Keyword Revealer is not what you are looking for, then check other keyword research tools as alternative options.

1. KWFinder

KWFinder is a great keyword research tool. It simplifies the keyword research process. It offers a comprehensive data set for search engine optimization. It shows relevant data inside its user interface that’s easy enough for even new users to pick up quickly.

Focus on simplicity is what makes this tool stand out. Its design and functionality are easy to understand and navigate. Besides its clean interface, KWFinder has a one-click keyword difficulty scoring system, as well as some other unique research options that you can’t find anywhere else.

2. AnswerThePublic

If you’re going to use keyword research for content research, I recommend using AnswerThePublic. It’s a keyword research tool that gathers “autocomplete” data from Bing and Google in creating a “search cloud” that displays possible long-tail keyword suggestions.

answer the public review

You don’t need to create an account to use this tool. Just enter a seed keyword and select “Get Questions” to get started. The tool will then create search clouds containing long-tail keyword ideas.

3. Google Keyword Planner

Even though it’s not a stand-alone solution, Google Keyword Planner is still a highly regarded keyword research tool. Because it’s a Google product, you have access to a larger user base.

Marketers love the fact that you receive a large number of long-tail keyword suggestions, all completely free of charge.

Google Keyword Planner can be used in two ways. You can use it to find new keywords, and you can also use it to see search volume, as well as other metrics for the keywords.

4. Keyword Tool

KeywordTool.io is another popular keyword search tool. It might initially look like other keyword search solutions until you realize that you can switch to another tab to also find keywords for Amazon, Google Play Store, YouTube, Bing, Instagram, and other popular websites.

instagram keyword research tool

KeywordTool also compiles Google Autocomplete suggestions to find long-tail keywords, similar to what AnswerThePublic does. The primary difference is that this tool presents them using traditional list views instead of visualizing results in search clouds.

5. SEMrush Keyword Magic Tool

SEMrush does more than just keyword research. It’s a complete search engine optimization and digital marketing analytics platform that happens to include an impressive keyword research options.

SEMrush Keyword Magic Tool

SEMrush’s keyword search features are straightforward to use and understand. Although the keyword research features aren’t as clearly defined as they are in other products, it is easy to start using and find low competition keywords or keywords your competitors are ranking for. For more info, you can check my Semrush review.

6. Ahrefs

Ahrefs‘ “Keyword Explorer” can scrape keyword suggestions from Amazon, YouTube, Yandex, and several foreign search engines. The user experience is a little better than what you’ll find by using SEMrush’s Keyword Magic utility. Its well-organized layout makes keyword data results easier to read.

Ahrefs Keyword Explorer

Ahrefs has all the important keyword research filter options. You can even filter keywords according to “Return Rate,” which is the likelihood that users will use the same keyword in searches during 30 days.

Is Keyword Revealer Worth It?

Keyword research isn’t always easy. It can be challenging but fun. You have to think about different parameters and other factors to find the best keywords for your business. Keyword research is essential for any company’s search engine optimization strategy.

Knowing how to find keywords that have the most monthly searches and the lowest difficulty scores is something that you should quickly become acquainted with to bring more traffic and more potential revenue to your website.

So is Keyword Revealer worth getting? Keyword Revealer is an impressive solution in the crowded keyword research tools marketplace. Its simple, straightforward user interface can help users at all experience levels quickly find the right keywords to meet their needs.

Evaluating keywords gives you a lot of information that you can use to determine just what keywords to use. However, you also have to manually evaluate each keyword that you’re considering to find their Difficulty scores for.

The other features also add value to the tool and Keyword Revealer is regularly adding more features.

If you’re looking for the best keyword search tool, Keyword Revealer isn’t yet the best option. It’s just not powerful enough to provide proper keyword suggestions and ideas. It’s far from the “ultimate” keyword search tool.

I would recommend checking tools lioke KWFinder, SEO PowerSuite, Long Tail Pro, Ahrefs, SpyFu, Serpstat or SEMRush.

To conclude this review of Keyword Revealer, the tool is improving and working on creating new ways to help users find their ideal keywords for businesses. Given the already oversaturated keyword tool market, it should be interesting to see what Keyword Revealer does to improve their overall product.

  1. Horrible customer service, have been trying to reach them for over a month. They have charged my card twice after I cancelled, and the account is limited to only free account capabilities, so I am not even getting to use what I am paying for.

    1. Hi Chris,

I agree that there is a lack of support replies. I have reached them several times this year and never got any reply.

  2. Hi author!

Thanks for sharing this helpful review article. Keyword research is indeed a very important strategy to prepare any content marketing strategy.

There are dozens of free or paid keyword research tools that claim to offer the best keyword research value.

But the reality is there’s probably 10 SEO companies who outrank the other ones of the long list. Semrush, Ahrefs, Ubersuggest and Moz are the main stream for SEO & marketers to provide the best keyword research data.

    Best regards
